  • Is HOSTEL JIN a hotel?
    HOSTEL JIN offers rooms for stay by reasonable price with fewer services compared with hotels.
    We basically call this type accommodations “Backpackers” or “Guest House” etc,
    however, we keep the facilities clean and offer services as far as we can.
    Our hostel has been highly rated at several booking sites and guests will have the best stay.

    Rooms for the guests staying over, common lounge, kitchen, shower rooms and toilet.
    The ground floor is Cafe & Lounge which visitors can order drink menu too.

  • What is there near JIN?
    1 min to JR / Hanshin Nishikujo station.
    (Good access to the city, Kyoto, Kobe etc)
    Convenience stores, supermarket and post office locate nearby.
    Many local restaurant and bars in the non touristic real Osaka atmosphere.

  • Is JIN not far from the airport?
    There is the train bound for Kansai International Airport (KIX) with no transfer in 1h.

  • Is access good to tourist spots?
    Osaka city (Umeda/Namba) is just 10 min by train. 40 min to Kyoto or Kobe.
    5 min to Universal Studio Japan (USJ) or Osaka Dorm by train as well.

  • Is there any car parking space?
    No there is not.
    Please use public transportation or near coin parking spaces.

  • Can young guests stay JIN?
    Under 18 y.o guests need to bring the guardians’ sign of permission.
    We would request you to bring either the guardians’ sign (handwritten is fine)
    or contact info which we can contact your guardian as soon as you arrive at HOSTEL JIN to chack-in.

    And 13 y.o or younger guests cannot stay Dormitory type rooms in any cases.

  • About use of the facility with other guests
    Most of parts of HOSTEL JIN are being shared and used by several guests, visitors and staffs.
    All the guests are from differ society and country, each cultural background is different from others.

    We humbly would like everyone to respect each other and make JIN the best comfortable place.
    The staffs will help the guests and visitors to resolve any inconvenience as far as possible.

  • What is being offered in JIN?
    There are common facility / services and FREE amenities.

  • Is there curfew?
    No curfew but the entrance will be locked every mid night ~ early morning.
    We will inform the unlock code and the guests can open the door anytime.
  • Can we use shower rooms or washstand in the night?
    Yes basically these are open to use 24/7.
    Please just do not disturb the other guests by making too much noises.

  • Can we bring in food or drinks?
    Can bring them in the common kitchen on the ground floor.
    Prohibited to any Dormitory type rooms but fine to Private / DX Private type rooms
    Please do not mess up the room much.

    *Visitors cannot bring in food or drinks in anywhere of HOSTEL JIN.

  • Is there sleepwear?
    We do not have sleepwear for the guests, sorry.
    Guests have to prepare sleepwear.

  • Booking and Cancelation
  • Is there Cancellation Policy?
    We would require cancellation fee as the following info shows.

    Cancel 1day before:50%
    Cancel on the date(~16:00):80%
    Cancel on the date(16:00~)/No Show:100%

    We also may send the additional policy to the guests booked the room for several days in a row.

  • Can I choose the bed of Dormitory room?
    You cannot choose the bed you use in Dormitory room.
    If there are other available beds on the check in date, we could consider that.

  • We are a group of 3 and would like to stay DX Private room or Tatami room
    Please let us know it when you make a booking.
    We basically prepare beds for 2 people unless the guest informs us that.

  • I would like to stay JIN with kids
    We cannot let 13 y.o or younger guests stay Dormitory rooms.
    The other type rooms can accommodate children, please contact us
    when you make a booking.

  • Check In and Check Out
  • What time can we check in?
    Check in time is 16:00~23:00.
    Contact us if you are arriving late.
  • What time can we check out?
    Check out time is ~11:00.
    You cannot check out after 11:00 in any case.
  • Can we put luggage in a storage room before check in / after check out?
    Before check in, we will receive your luggage during 7:00~23:00.
    After check out, we can keep your luggage during 11:00~23:00.

    We do not accept any luggage to put unless it is on the check in/check out date.

  • Can we use a card to pay for stay?
    The guests can use Visa、Master card、American Express.

    The other cards are not acceptable. Please pay by cash instead.

  • Can we pay by bank transfer?
    Yes please contact us if you wish it.

    Yes visitors can order drink menu at Cafe & Lounge.
